Invest in the Land That Will Shape DBCMI’s Future

Help us secure land where children can learn, grow, and thrive — a place to raise their own food, care for animals, and build a school that will shape their future. Your support helps create a permanent home for education, nourishment, and opportunity.

Dear sponsors,

We are excited to share an important step forward in the growth and sustainability of DonBosco ministries. We are in the process of purchasing a piece of land valued at $13,513.

The land, located along Hoima Road, presents a strategic and accessible location for our long-term vision. Our aim is to acquire one acre on which we will build a community school, expand our orphanage, and establish a model farm.

This project will significantly strengthen our organization in several ways. First, building a community school will allow us to provide affordable and quality education to vulnerable children while also generating modest income to support our programs. Second, enlarging our orphanage will enable us to accommodate more children in need of care, shelter, and education. Finally, setting up a model farm will promote food sustainability, reduce operational costs, and create an additional income stream through agricultural activities.

Owning this land will help address the ongoing challenge of limited donor support and financial constraints, especially in times when child sponsorship funding fluctuates. By investing in sustainable infrastructure and income-generating projects, we will reduce dependence on inconsistent donations and create a more stable future for the children and the community we serve.

We are grateful for the $7,500 already received and kindly appeal for your continued support to help us raise the remaining balance. Your contribution toward this land purchase is not just an investment in property, it is an investment in education, sustainability, and hope for many children.

Thank you for standing with us in transforming lives and building a stronger future.

Sincerely,
Management
