DBCMI celebrates education! When a child goes to school they learn how to speak up, how to think and how to dream,they don’t just learn lessons from books they learn about life also. Education gives a chance to see the world differently. They understand that they can build their own future no matter where they are from.

It opens doors to better opportunities. Unfortunately millions of children are not able to study like normal students because they don’t have access to basic schooling due to extreme poverty, lack of awareness and social barriers.

Don Bosco Children’s ministries international work directly with under privileged children and their families to bring education to them. DBCMI act as a bridge between under privileged children and formal education. With the financial aid from our donors we help children who are left behind because of poverty or social issues.

From 2018 up to date we have been able to enroll over fifty children in our scholarship program. Among these children is Saidat whom we mate in 2019 helping her poor mother to make local bricks . At her age and this kind of work it was total child labor. This was not because her mother wanted to exploit her own daughter, it was due to the extreme poverty they were suffering. We bless the lord that through the unconditional support from our esteemed donors, many children like saidat are able to study.
