Young Man has Spinal Injury
Godfrey was a young, brilliant, outgoing young man. On a fateful day last December, Godfrey came back home and climbed a tree. He wanted to get some Jack fruit. Godfrey was joining school as senior six. I think this year would be a candidate. So his life is now at a stop because of that tragic accident that happened to him.
And it was not the first time he was climbing that tree, but this time round, he was just unlucky. He fell down and injured his back. Godfrey injured his spine and is bedridden right now.
His mother isn’t currently working, as she has to spend her days taking care of Godfrey.
They need money for food because the mother doesn't work anymore. She has to stay at home and take care of Godfrey. Everything, because as you can see, they have to clean him, they have to feed him. So it's really a heavy task. And that's the matter. So we are hoping that Don Bosco can help Godfrey. With the little, we know maybe we might not be able to work again, but we can give him hope by helping them out. Maybe if we can get a wheelchair, because now he's trying very hard to see that he can't sit, as you can see. It's painful, but she's trying his best to see that he can sit. But if we can get a wheelchair, at least you can get out of the house, get some sunshine. Yeah. And also see the environment outside. He has a challenge of the bed sewers, because as you all know, whenever you sleep a lot, you're not getting out. You have to devote bedsores all over the body. But they have been trying to treat them.
