PROVIDING WATER AND SANITATION TO RURAL COMMUNITIES

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right yet people living in Nansana in the village of kinyarwanda lacked this essential resource. A remarkable success story comes from DBCMI that received funds from Robert and Bridget to implement a clean water project in this community. This funding enabled us to construct a spring well and educate the community about hygiene practices.

The results were staggering, with in months of implementing this project,The challenge of waterborne diseases in this community dropped significantly. Children no longer had to fetch water from contaminated sources allowing them to live a healthy life without any health risks associated with waterborne illnesses.

The project not only improvement health outcomes but also empowered the community members to take ownership of their water source. Through training on maintenance and sustainability practices . This act of mercy from Robert and Bridget left a remarkable mark in the history of Kanyarwanda community and in the books of DBCMI.
