Theme: “God Has Been With Us”
Dear children, dear brothers and sisters, dear friends of Don Bosco,
As we come to the end of this year, we are not just closing a calendar, we are remembering a journey.
This year had days of laughters and days of tears. Some days were easy, and others were hard. But today, we gather with one beautiful truth in our hearts: God has been with us.
In the Gospel, Jesus tells us, “I will not leave you alone.” And here, in this home, in this Don Bosco family, we see those words come alive.
To our dear children:
You are not alone.
You are loved.
You are precious.
Don Bosco used to say, “It is enough that you are young for me to love you.” He believed that every child carries a dream placed there by God. Even when life begins with pain or loss, God is still writing your story, and He writes beautifully.
This year, God showed His love through:
-Suzan and Lilian, our caretakers.
-Our dear friend Chris and Fr. Jim his parish priest (these have guided us, supported us in many ways, may God bless them)
This is how God works through people.
As we step into a new year, we may not know what tomorrow will bring. But we know who goes with us. Jesus walks with us. Mary, our loving mother, watches over us. And Don Bosco continues to guide this family with joy and hope.
So today, let us do three simple things:
1. Thank God for bringing us safely through this year
2. Forgive the hurts of the past
3. Trust that the new year will carry new blessings
Dear children, never forget:
You are God’s children.
Your future is full of hope.
And this place will always be a home of love.
Let us end this year with grateful hearts, joyful songs, and strong faith — knowing that the God who cared for us this year will never stop caring for us.
May God bless you all.
May Don Bosco smile upon us.
And may the coming year be filled with hope, joy, and peace.
